The market for the Weis

The topic of this blog is Weis Markets. Founded in 1912 in Sunbury P.A. Weis Markets has by Harry and Sigmund Weis. The grocery store opperates in states from Virginia to New York. The company brings in on average 98.4 million a year. over time Weis would go on to become one of the primary grocery store chains in Pennsylvania, but what does is it like when you walk into our local Bloomsburg Weis.
when walking into our local Weis Markets you will be met with music from all genres, from classic rock to modern pop. Making a left turn will take you to the beer cafe, deli and produce sections. In these you can see employees making sandwiches and pizza, ringing costumers out for their alcohol, and also many different kinds of fruits and vegetables. If you don't need alcohol then if you continue straight to the back to find the bakery. There you can get cakes, donuts, and many other baked goods.  If you turn right when coming into the store you will be met with isles upon isles of different foods, drinks, and other items you might need throughout your day to day life. You will also see several different check out lines and a costumer service desk. There are 10 self check-out lanes and 4 lanes with employees to help check you out. In front of those lanes is a fridge with drinks, as well as shelves of candy. On the far right wall you will find a section with sweatshirts, T-shirts, novelty mugs, and many other gifts for our school, and community. Continuing along this wall there is bread, eggs, peanut butter, and many other items. Along the back wall you can find milk, juice, frozen meat. Along that same wall sits a place to get fresh meat, and fish.
Weis Markets Bloomsburg is located at 725 Colombia Blvd, across the street from the CVS pharmacy. The fastest way to get from campus to the Weis would be going down Spruce street but be carful Spruce street is on a very steep hill. For a much easer but slower way would be to take east street all the way down.
